A day with us

The rhythm little ones love

Predictable, unhurried, and full of play — here’s what a typical Preschool day looks like.

Mornings start slowly. Doors open at 7:30, and by 8:30 everyone gathers on the rug for hellos, a song, and a look at the day ahead — every child gets a turn to share.

Then comes the longest and best stretch: discovery play. Easels, the building corner, the sensory table, the reading nook — children choose where to go, and teachers move alongside them, asking questions and lending a hand.

Around ten thirty we pause for a snack and stories, then head outside — running, digging, and watering our little garden, rain boots and all.

Lunch is family-style, served at low tables where children pour their own water and pass the bowls. Afterwards the room dims for quiet time: some nap, some page through books.

Afternoons are for music, movement, and small-group projects — the ones that take days to finish — right up until pickup hugs at the door.

What children learn

Growing in every direction

Language & stories

Talking, listening, pretending

Daily read-alouds, songs, and dramatic play grow vocabulary and the confidence to use it.

Numbers & patterns

Counting, sorting, building

Blocks, puzzles, and kitchen math make early number sense feel like play — because it is.

Friendship & feelings

Sharing, waiting, big emotions

Teachers coach turn-taking and name feelings out loud — the real kindergarten readiness.

Good to know

Preschool questions, answered

Does my child need to be potty-trained?

No — we’ll partner with you wherever your child is on that journey. Many of our three-year-olds are still learning, and that’s completely normal.

What should we bring on the first day?

A change of clothes, a water bottle, and a family photo for our friendship wall. We provide everything else — including the paint on their hands.

How do you handle the settling-in period?

Gently. We suggest short first days, a consistent goodbye ritual, and we’ll text you a photo once your little one is happily playing — usually within minutes.

Are meals and snacks included?

Morning and afternoon snacks are included. For lunch you can choose our warm meal plan or pack your own — we’ll gently warm food brought from home.

Come see the magic for yourself

Book a tour, meet our teachers, and watch your little one light up. We can’t wait to say hello.
